Hey everyone! It’s been awhile since the last news post but don’t worry, SSF2 is still alive and kicking. I can’t post any specific SSF2 news just yet, but in the meantime I have a special treat for you guys! Earlier this year I wanted to create a fun little website in order to ramp up my web programming skills, and I came up with a little something called Paste Pasta.

So what is it exactly? Well, long story short I like to copy and paste text snippets a lot (mainly when coding), so I created this little tool dedicated to copying and pasting. With Paste Pasta you can create a simple text boxes that you can single-click in order to copy the content onto your clipboard. You can drag around the boxes, resize them, transfer them between tabs, and more!

And guess what? I am offering free beta access to the next 20 people who sign-up!

Click below and use the “Register” button
http://beta.pastepasta.com

Once the next 20 are filled you will have to be invited by someone who has an account in order to join. Anyone who registers gets invites to give out, but the invite registration isn’t guaranteed to stay open so sign up quickly!

Also, the service is likely to stay free once it goes public, but the site needs more testing. You can use the bug submission form on the website if you find any issues. Enjoy and let me know what you think! 🙂

I’m excited to announce today that we’ll be holding an ongoing process of accepting user-submitted video clips from everyone, and choosing the best ones to create compilation videos! 🙂 Now’s the chance for you to get creative and totally show off your gameplay skills. We’ll be accepting content throughout the coming months, and we’ll keep you up to date on progress after we get a good look at the kinds of submissions we’re getting. There are certain rules involved, so make sure you read them carefully before submitting any content:

– The clip must be of the latest version of SSF2.
– The clip must have reasonably high video quality. Exceptions may be made for truly exceptional clips, but you should try to keep your video quality as high as possible.
– The clip must be devoid of obtrusive watermarks. Watermarks that can easily be cropped are ok, but should be avoided if possible.
– The clip should have at least 5 seconds of space on either side for editing purposes, but should be trimmed down to the appropriate portion. Do not submit 3 minutes of footage for a 10 second clip.
– Most importantly, the clip must be exceedingly impressive and fun to watch!

So enough talk, and start sending us some clips!

It’s been awhile since new music was added so I’ve uploaded two new pieces to the Music Section today. One of them is a light instrumental, and the other is “unofficial” Pokemon music, so go check it out! 🙂 (There’s also more where that came from which I plan to upload soon as well)

Also, stay tuned for other news very soon, we have an interesting announcement to make!
