If you have the means to travel to the event I highly recommend you attend! If you can’t make it, you can always watch the event online.

I’ve uploaded 2 new pieces, “Aftermath” and “Fantasy”, to the Music section. Go check it out!
It’s been too long since I’ve uploaded music so there will be more where that came from soon. Also be sure to check out my Blog if you haven’t yet, there I will be posting 5 music-related articles this week to keep things fresh.
Enjoy!
Today I’d like to introduce a new website that will act as both my portfolio and professional blog:
On this new site you’ll be able to find things such as coding tips and samples for Flash ActionScript, or other various experiences I’ve had while programming and working on music. I’ve wanted to get a site like this up for awhile now, since over the years I’ve learned a lot of info that I’m willing to share. So if you are into programming or writing music I highly suggest you bookmark the new site since I will be posting updates on a regular basis very soon. 🙂
Of course you want SSF2 updates you’ll have to keep up with the news here on MG, since the new website won’t be focusing on SSF2. Just because I’ve made a second website doesn’t mean things around here will change!
One of Adobe’s latest updates appears to have broken the offline version of SSF2 v0.8b for most players.
The files for v0.8b have been re-uploaded to take care of this issue
Also, Mac users who have experienced problems playing the downloadable version in the past may now be able to use it.
Enjoy the fixes, and more news to come soon!
Some of our members seem to be confused about what the previous announcement means for you and for SSF2. It’s a lot to swallow, so please read:
If you managed to catch the stream from the previous post, you were one of the first to learn of SSF2’s showcasing at Apex 2013, an annual Smash competition located in New Brunswick, NJ. Apex is an INTERNATIONAL level Smash tournament, so this is groundbreaking territory for us. Those attending Apex will get to play v0.9 AHEAD OF RELEASE at the SSF2 booth and meet a few of the SSF2 Developers. Those unable to make it to Apex will be able to enjoy a livestream of v0.9 being played every day that Apex runs, and be the first to receive the download link for the game. The update will be released to the public after the final day of Apex for everyone to enjoy. This means the release date for v0.9 is January 13th, 2013. We’re going to make sure v0.9 is the absolute best it can be before the competition, so you can rest assured that you won’t be disappointed in what will be our last tier of demos before the full game. So expect further information about this as we get closer to the event. (And we hope to potentially see some of you there as well if you are in the area!)
A common request on the stream during the announcement was for v0.9 gameplay; we will be posting an introductory video to v0.9 with some first looks at the changes that we’ve done in the past few months. We hope you’ll check back tomorrow to see it. Thanks for watching!
