Attention everyone, SSF2 v0.7 has been update with the following fixes!
-Fixed broken projectiles
-Fixed issues with Kirby-Wario’s bike
-Fixed CPU Tails’ final smash freezing
-Fixed issue with certain attacks going backwards
-Fixed Peach’s down special
-Fixed some broken hit boxes
-Threw in score animation for timed matches
-Bunch of fixes that caused game crashes/error messages, etc.
I also moved around a few things but besides that there aren’t any other major changes. Please re-download in order to see the updates. This should address pretty much any of the serious problems you guys have been having with the game. Enjoy!
About The SSF2 Roster:
There has been a lot of talk going on recently due to the “surprise” in v0.7 about cuts and replacements for SSF2. I want to make sure everyone is aware now that there WILL be changes made to the roster, and I am NOT accepting requests for cuts/replacements or additional characters. I also want to make sure everyone knows that just because a character does not make the final roster does NOT mean that they will never be playable in SSF2. Everyone should already know about the plans for SSF2 to have downloadable expansion characters to be loaded into the game, and these plans haven’t changed I assure you. Expansion characters will have 99.9% of the capabilities a normal character can have, so there is no reason to be upset that one of your favorites might not be in the final game.
Anyway, I hope that clears things up for everyone. Enjoy the fixes for v0.7 and keep an eye out for further news updates! 🙂

Attention Forum Users:
Since the site has been so busy today the forums have been crashing a lot. I will do my best to fix this as soon as possible, but in the meantime the rest of the site should still work.

Merry Christmas from MG!
I hope everyone is enjoying their holidays so far! As promised, I bring you the gift of update news. We made a lot of progress this week, and though we weren’t able to make a Christmas release I finally have a due date for the next demo release! So the release date and time for SSF2 version v0.7 is:
New Years Day @ Noon EST
So you can relax and enjoy your holidays knowing a confirmed date and time for v0.7. Enjoy the rest of the year, and the next time I post a news update it’ll be 2011! 🙂
Happy Holidays!! 🙂
It has been awhile since I updated, so I figured I’d let everyone in on the progress of SSF2 v0.7. We have actually made a LOT of progress in the past few weeks, knocking out more than 90% of the content and features that needed to be added, as well as taking care of nearly every bug. As much I would like to promise an update by Christmas, we are behind a bit too much for me to make that guarantee. The good news on the other hand, is that I can officially say that the update IS approaching. Will it be by Christmas? New Year’s? I can’t say for sure. But I’ll make another news post by the 25th with another status update. So be on the lookout for more information coming soon!
I hope everyone who celebrates it has a great Thanksgiving! I’ve uploaded a new piece of music for you guys called Virulent Force, so be sure to head over to the Music section to check it out!
As for SSF2, progress is still inching along. If things go as planned we could be looking at a new demo release before the new year. I think the release of a new SSF2 demo would make a great holiday gift, wouldn’t you agree? So thanks everyone for your patience so far, I will be announcing a release date for the demo during the month of December as soon as I can.
