Many of you have been mailing me questions about when the new Dojo and demo will be coming out. The guys working on the Dojo are still making some last minute changes to it. The place will look really good when it’s done, you’ll see. As for the demo, I just finished my finals this week and got home from school, and due to all of the coding changes I had to make I still have lots of actual content that needs to be added to it. So I will do my best to get the demo out before the month ends, but sorry it won’t be out this week. And I imagine the Dojo will be finished by the time the demo is done at the latest.

Be sure to keep an eye out for the release of the Dojo and demo v0.5!

As you may have heard, there is a new SSF2 Dojo that is about to go up! It is starting from scratch once again so expect more accurate updates, and a much better design. Be sure to check it out here when it’s done:

(The old Dojo will be completely replaced by this one, it was very inaccurate so there’s really no point in keeping it up. Please don’t ask me to leave it.)

It’s been awhile since my last news post, so I figured it was time for new music. Go to the Music section now to check it out, I call this piece “Beginning Anew”.

As for SSF2 v0.5, I estimate the update will be completed sometime in mid-May. Remember, this will be a MAJOR update full of surprises, so it will be worth the wait! 😉

😥

The subject says it all. Nintendo finally decided to take action and sent me a cease and desist order requiring me to remove all Super Smash Bros. related content from the site by tomorrow. If I don’t, I’ll face a fine of $1,000,000 US Dollars… Now that I have nothing to keep the site going I’m going to be closing down for good in a few days.
THIS IS SERIOUS!

I certainly hope you enjoyed your time here and I’m sorry it all had to end so suddenly. If you want to help fight to get SSF2 back you can go to Nintendo’s complaint forum: http://forums.nintendo.com/complaints

–EDIT–
APRIL FOOLS!!!

I’m sure you would’ve found that out by now if you clicked the link. Hope you got a good laugh and I didn’t scare you too much! 😉

Anyway, SSF2 Production is fine. v0.5 production is slow and steady, though it will take at least another month to complete since the school year is approaching its end and the work load has increased a ton. I’ll let you know of any major updates.

Demo v0.4b is complete! Check it out in the Games section now. Nearly every major issue has been fixed, so no need to worry so much about the game freezing up on you. I’ve also added several new features, some of which I listed in the Games section. Enjoy!

Notes about the next version v0.5a:
Now that the majority of the bugs are gone, in v0.5 you can expect the most major changes ever made since the game started. I plan on giving the physics engine another revamping, as well as adding more characters, items and stages. I’ll also be doing some menu updates, and maybe add a new mode or two. This next demo could take awhile, but trust me it will be worth the wait. I estimate it will take a minimum of 1 month to make this next demo. Please don’t ask me when it will be complete, I will announce it when it’s almost finished.

Also, I have uploaded a new song titled “Fear Ave”, go to the Music section now to listen! 🙂
