Hey guys, I just wanted to make sure everyone was aware that my summer vacation began this week! 😎

This means a whole lot more time to work on the game since I don’t have classes or homework to be concerned about for the next 3 months! :wee: I want to get SSF2 back on its feet as soon as possible since I missed a lot of chances to work on the game due to college and the whole web server thing. So I’ve got a lot of work to do, but once I’m all caught up I’ll be sure to finally post an estimated due date for the next demo!

The main site is now available. The forums take a bit longer to restore but they should be back online at some point today. In the meantime please email me if there are any problems with the main site.

Also just so you all know, my summer vacation is coming up in a couple of weeks! 😎 Classes are just about over with and finals are coming up. So SSF2 may be slowed again once more due to exams, but the end of classes is just around the corner so it’s only a matter time before I can really get some work done on the game. Although I can’t say I have a due date yet, I will see where I’m at after school lets out and possibly give you guys another estimate on the next update.

I apologize for the short notice, but the tech department of my web host made a mistake and apparently reinstalled the wrong OS. So we’re going to have another day of downtime coming up. (I just can’t believe I didn’t notice… :>_<: ) I only have until May 6th to switch or I'll start being charged extra, so I want to get it done as soon as I can. I'll basically be doing the same thing as before: -The forums will be offline starting at midnight (EST) on May 2nd (this Sunday night)

-The site itself will go offline at some point during Monday May 3rd

Luckily this time I’ll know how to take care of the issues that came up during the last OS reinstall, so there will be much shorter down time than before. If anything changes I’ll be sure to let you all know.

And of course an event such as this slowed down the new demo’s progress quite a bit. I will post an updated estimate on a due date as soon as I can.

I will be performing the OS reload on the server next week (as mentioned in the previous news). There are two important things to note:

-The forums will be offline starting at midnight (EST) on April 18th (Sunday night)

-The site itself will be offline for a short period of time at some point between April 19th-20th

I will attempt to keep the down time a short as possible. Until then, the submission system for the sprite archive and bug report system have been closed so that no new uploads are made until the reload is complete. I will keep you posted on any further updates.
